The cathode technology is totally free from heavy metal ions like Mn, Co, Ni, and V.  Also, no Rare-earth Metals are included in the battery. This novel technology has minimal environmental footprint, and does not rely on ore deposits in certain parts of the world.

The aqeous electrolyte used in our batteries ensures high safetey margin as compared to flammable or combustible electrolytes and solvents in Li-ion batteries. This battery composition avoids thermal runaway and self-ignition that can happen in Li-ion batteries.
